Leitz Tiltall tripod maintenance . . .diy?

My tiltall is getting a little sticky. It appears to me the whole thing is held together by 8mm hex bolts, so it seems straight forward to disassemble, clean, lube, bolt back together.

I really like the tripod, so I wanted to check before taking it apart.

Wow! Thanks Rick. I too, have an old Tiltall that is my favorite. They're not hard to disassemble, Rich. I wipe the parts with mineral spirits, and use just a touch of Hoppes gun oil, or Remoil, on the pivots. Not too much, as you don't want to attract dirt. I'm glad to now have a source of parts though.

My modified Tiltall, you can't do this with Marchioni Bros. or Leitz models. I can still reattach the original head if I want to, but this works better for my arthritic hands.
