Leica should introduce their own line of 35mm film

Mm now now don't forget the natural extension of shooting film is processing film, so of course we will need Leica branded MQ Borax film developer sold pre-measured in glass tubes and only shipped via slow mule to prevent breakage. It'll work exactly like that plebeian "Dee Seventy Six" but will be 30 Euros per package to process 2 rolls, with 29.00 Euro shipping from Germany and its out of stock now, but should be in stock in the 2nd quarter of 2024.

The glass tubes will have the cap red to keep the branding consistent.

I used to be on a roll a week minimum of B&W and generally shot 6 rolls a month. Plus whatever color I got a wild hair to play with.

10 a weekend feels like wild times to me. You must have bags of monobath in the cabinet like a baker has bags of flour.
Maybe Leica needs to make a Red Dot Monobath Developer to go with their new black and white films.

Will the new Leica film come precut for Barnack cameras? If I am paying $50 for the worlds finest B&W film, I don't want to take a risk cutting the leader improperly.

A Leica film 5-pack would come in a genuine alligator skin collector pack and sell for $15,000 by itself, PLUS the cost of the film, which would obviously be expired long before. No biggie. The Leica itself would have been on the fireplace mantle the whole time, and never shot once anyway.

I'm going to try to shoot more 35mm. I need to get in gear. I shoot my 6x9 Fujis most of the time. I should try and shoot everyday. I'm recently retired, have no excuses. I took my walk up the big hill and around the neighborhood, one of my neighbors grows all kinds of apples. I took a couple snaps with one of my digital cameras today, bare branches, red apples against a deep blue sky. Photography helps me see.

As I noted earlier, in 1960s I did try a couple boxes of Leicanol film developer. Supposedly an ultra fine grain developer. I don’t know when it was introduced or when production ceased, or who made it. “Leicanol” was written with the same script style as the word Leica on top of top cover of cameras. It came in a white box before the red dot gimmick.

That's only because you aren't using genuine Leica film in your camera. You should only use the best, after all!

I'll wait for the limited edition HCB400 (ie TriX) which will come in a walnut presentation box complete with 3 Henri Cartier-Bresson prints, a pair of black velvet gloves to handle while loading, a bag of brass nails (got to have some brass...) and will cost $1908 (the year HCB was born). Only 95 will be made.

A Leica user does not load his own film. We have people that do that for us.

And wearing Leica labeled suspenders to match their Leica camera straps, since it's already been pointed out to me on good authority that there are no Leica belt buckle ornaments. But maybe if there were Leica branded cowboy boots made with genuine rattlesnake skin, they would come out with a big brass Leica cowboy belt buckle ... it's inevitable. There are plenty of rich Texans who don't even ride horses or actually shoot cameras either, but still like to brag that they own the best of everything.
