Leica M8 Color Templates

I found a web site which keeps a adobe lightroom template to change your nikon colors to leica m8 colors .
I tried this template on my very uncalibrated scans of eos 1000 and result was perfect.
But few people say resulting colors are far from m8.
Any way , how can we know the color dynamics of a camera ? How does it presented ?
May be I can try after your reply . And I need M8 data . How can I find it ?

Hello Ray , Let me try to explan , first visit kammagamma site and see the color palette graphics of various cameras. And than find the camera color comparing engine at the site .
I want to know where is the source of such a digital camera color maps and how we can apply it to a photoshop or lightroom template.
I looked to the m8 template and there were many curve adjustments ! How can be done ?
