That is true, my M7 I don't recall flaring much. My M6 flares badly but only in very specific circumstances, namely where there is a strong directional light source just out of the frame but the light in the field of view is weak. This means if you're taking a picture of someone sat in front of a window from indoors or shooting at an event indoors with strong spot lights. Strangely even with bright sunshine I don't recall getting finder flare out doors. I was getting it all the time last night at a wedding but not enough to get complete white out so I could still focus OK. I haven't found a situation yet where it can't be worked around.
