For Sale Leica M7 $2800

I purchased this M7 in the fall of 2006. The camera was serviced by DAG in Feb 2020. It is working flawlessly. It has the improved viewfinder (like the M2, M4 and then later MP’s) and improved film code reader.

The BAD. As you can see in the photo of the top cover there is slight depression in the metal. I wouldn’t call it a dent. Shortly after I got it back from being serviced, I did what you should never do. I left the lens cap off briefly and burned a whole in the shutter. I called DAG about replacing the shutter and he said there was no need to. His advice, which I followed, was to put a drop of liquid rubber electrical sealant on the hole. In over 4 years I have never had an issue with the shutter.

Selling because I bought an MP with the 0.58x finder.

Come on this is a great price. Only selling because I bought an MP with a 0.58x Vf.

It will sell in better times, even sales on ebay are low these days....many seems to be hiding until the economic wars are over...
and its nice to have an (half) automatic M7 and a manual MP with different magnification
