USA only - PayPal only - Shipping and fees on me. USA only

Leica M5 - Purchased approximately 1 year ago here on RFF. Has been overhauled by DAG per previous owner. Framelines were modified to add 28mm lines (making it obvious that it was overhauled since origninal M5 finder does not include 28mm). You will note small dents on right side. Otherwise, there are extremely slight lines on chrome - would not even call them scratches. Vulcanite covering is in good condition. Slight paint loss on rear door metal edges. Camera and meter works great - photos turned out well. RF is aligned correctly. The stepless shutter that can be turned with your finger still on the shutter button is a great feature. I have also added a Mr. Zhou black leather half case. $800 USA only

You can see pictures here:

I can supply additional pictures if needed.

It is a nice looking camera in chrome. I assume this is the full M6/M4P frameline set? The original 35 frame line only had corner marks at the bottom, so that will be an indication. I wouldn't think you could get the 28 frame in with original M4/M5 size frames, but that would be a nice combo if it is. What battery does it use now?

The camera uses 625A (alkaline) batteries now. The 28mm frame lines fit just within the window, but there is no bottom frame line. It would overlap the exposure info area if a bottom line was included. When I first started using the M5, I made mistakes in framing. After a little practice, I quit framing so tightly and had no problems.

This is a great looking camera and it works properly as well. I would hold on to it if I didn't have half a dozen other cameras!

M5 still available for the holidays. Give yourself a gift!

The M5 is still available.

I will have to add new pictures. I realized the soft release is shown in some pictures. The soft release was sold with another camera, so it's not available anymore. It is still a great value for a recently overhauled M5 with added 28mm lines and a half case.

Better value than a new Leica digital.

Those are some serious fighting words over in some other forums. You're probably safe here among the analog crowd!

M5 still available. The least expensive way to get a metered Leica RF camera.

I'd also be interested to know if there are any things you'd consider in trade.

Sorry for the slow response. I was out of the country for the week.

I would prefer to sell the camera, but could consider a trade. I also use Canon FD and Olympus OM gear. PM me if you have something along those lines for trade.
