OK, brutal honesty: I've never been able to get this thing to work properly. I am told they are a vast improvement and once you get the knack they are a dream, but I guess I've never gotten the knack, or my dreams are weird, so it's sat in my tool box lo these 30 years, unused except for occasional tries when optimism strikes, only to be crushed.

I even read the long article on the Leica FAQ page, followed the instructions, and still ended up frustrating myself. See it here:

http://leica.nemeng.com/005b.shtml

So, faced with repeated failure, Time for this symbol of my ineptitude to go.

This is the original Leica Quick Loading Kit complete: a replacement spool that you put into your M2 and M3 instead of the original, plus a spacer that you attach to the bottom plate. By following the instructions, it is supposed to convert your stodgy M3 or M2 into a sexy M4 (sort of) or now an MP, and many sing its praises. I do not have the original box, nor the original instructions, nor the sticker you put in your camera, however I will enclose absolutely free a clean photocopy of those instructions that includes what the sticker shows, suitable for framing. It is really pretty simple.

These are considered vintage collectibles for Leicas and sell for up to $150 on some auction site one hears rumor of. One is drawing interest at $86 as I write this.

Because I am conflicted on the thing, and don't have the box, and mostly am just cleaning out a bit, I'll sell it to any adventurous soul willing to pony up $50 US plus $5 postage in the US or Canada. If you are in one of those foreign places on another continent I will want $10 to cover postage because the postal service gets greedy any time salt water in involved.

I seem to be creating a lot of inattention with this one.

OK, $45, and in the US I will pay the shipping. Overseas add $5 for shipping.

Such a deal! And, seriously, I bet it will work for you -- I'm just a klutz.:whistling:
