DESCRIPTION: Leica M2 Button Rewind Camera Body. Serial no. 961277. As shown.
CONDITION: Purchased from an estate with other cameras Obvious age and finish wear, small dings/dents & soiling. Rangefinder seems pretty clear and wants to align, but it just seems a bit off to me. Shutter curtains have no pinholes. Film counter works. About the shutter and winding: When I first checked out the winding and firing, it was working fine at all speeds but a little slow on the low end. Everything was pretty smooth and worked every time However, I opened the camera and noticed there was a very small bit of old film down around the bottom sprocket, so I took tweezers and simply pulled it out Thats all I did And now, for whatever reason, the cocking and firing is not working right. The film advance cocks and when the shutter button is pushed, it just makes a noise when released and the shutter curtain returns. Speeds can no longer be adjusted Its really strange to me, but Im no expert on these Just describing what its doing. Selling for repair or restoration.
PRICE: $ 275
SHIPPING: Price includes shipping. USA shipping only. Hawaii and Alaska could be a little more. Shipping is thru the USPS only and will include tracking and insurance.
PAYPAL & MONEY ORDERS ACCEPTED. If paying by paypal, send me a PM with the email address you use for paypal. I will then send you an invoice thru paypal. I will only ship to confirmed paypal accounts within the USA. If your account is not confirmed I will deny payment.
