Should have made it to cock the shutter. Better yet to charge a super capacitor holding enough power to do 1 shot. So the camera needs no battery.

It's actually a good idea. I have ThumbsUp grips on both of my Leica digitals and I always though...why couldn't they make
a thumb rest similar to my M Film cameras as we all use them, thumb under the advance lever.
Finally, they did.
