I noticed this picture of a Leica M6 in action on the set of Woody Allen's latest film.

Scarlett Johansson was takening pictures on the second day of filming in Spain.

I wasn't sure if she was really shooting with the camera or they were filming her as if she was shooting with the camera.

Anyway I blew up the hi-rez to see what camera it was.

Well, unless it is the first M6 with a LCD screen - I think it's safe to say she was not shooting the camera.

But, hey, who would want to hide that pretty face behind an ugly old film camera anyway!

Actually there were better shots of her shooting with the camera. I've added one as image 3.

She seems to be really shooting with it.

Actually George she said she was OK loading the camera, but could use some help in the darkroom making the prints.

I'm sure she'll be contacting you.

I included her in the other shots... more of a background/filler thing.

*sigh* Scarlett Johansson and a Leica M6 - both so nice to look at, both so unobtainable...

I can't wait for Leica to reissue an M6 "Scarlett" Edition. It'll sell for $10,000...and my future kids will not go to college.

Rob, a great example for a nice fake:

the actress does look into a different direction than the camera (image # 1)
the actress doesn't know how to take images (image # 3) - she does **not** support the camera with her left hand under the lens. It appears to me as if she tweaks a man's best part. :D
But what the heck, it's just a movie...

just my two cents...

I agree that she doesn't hold the camera right, but alot of people hold the camera the wrong way.

At least we can hope she's taking a real picture.
