Thinning down my collection to the cameras I use the most. This is my very first Leica, bought at a garage sale with the attached lens for $175.00 about five years ago. I added the finder a few years later for $75.00. Looking only to recapture my investment: $250.00

The missing patches of leatherette on the front are really the only stand-out cosmetic flaws. Camera is fully functional. When not shooting film I have exercised the shutter at all speeds on a periodic basis over the years. The “T” speed also works as it should.

I especially like the diopter feature in the focusing window. Between that and the added magnification factor, it affords very sharp focusing. Rangefinder is very accurate and images coincide with no overlap. Universal finder is very good for parallax compensation for 35, 50, 85, 90 and 135 lenses.

Summar lens will provide some creative visual effects for you as glass is cloudy and previous owner(s)? seemed to enjoy polishing it. Even still, stop it down to 9 and some very sharp results happen. Wide open at 2.0 gives a “dreamy” look with swirls galore.

Pay Pal for payment please. In addition to the listed purchase price I ask that you cover shipping costs. To help you calculate shipping, package will be coming from zip code 78132.

I have made several transactions through the classifieds here over the years. My ID on the “big auction” is the same if you would like to see my feedback rating.

Thanks for looking and giving it some thought!

If there is any chance you would sell the lens alone, please drop me a PM.

I understand. I'd love to purchase the kit, but I simply do not need the camera. My IIIc is busted, and I already have a IIIa and a Bessa R.

Glad someone got the whole kit.

I am not super fond of rangefinders for most things. But I do like to have one because they pack a lot of punch in a small package. The IIIc was that one for a while, then it broke. I had got a IIIa just for the Summar lens, and then switched to that. Then I gave it to a journalist friend on "permanent loan," so I suppose it really isn't mine any more. Then I got the Bessa because it was cheaper than fixing the IIIc (and a "better" camera IMHO).
