Do you use a stick to beat that dead horse or just pummel it with your tiny little fists?

Ok...

The solution = We all put Hans on our ignore lists and Hans put all of us on his ignore list. Then we can't see each other.

Hmmm...I don't think I stand alone against your style of arguing and your behaviour...

Oh, come now. I have insulted no-one, but I have already been insulted. The most absurd things are believed by photographers. I'll go further: There are more absurd beliefs floating around among photographers at any time than in any field I know about. Therefore, when I question these myths people take offense, when none is intended. That's sad but true.

Jorge is on my ignore list.

WHat, this guy still around? I think he has the dubious honor of making the ignore list of just about all frequent visitors to this place. NOw let me tell you, if you have made it to Lee's list, you are reallly an obnoxious bufoon, you cannot find a more easy going, even tempered person than Lee, if you annoy him, that is a good sign there is something wrong with your personality.

Just put him in your ignore list, let the bufoon argue with himslef.

Hans, Mr. "Acutol" is renown for arguing that anything he approves, in a subjective fashion, is actually fact. If he ruled the photography world, we would all be forced to only shoot at sharp as possible with no regard for tonality, in Acutol, of course. This tendency of his to feed his insatiable need to put down certain developers and promote Acutol is bewildering.

Actually, what I like best about Acutol is the tonality. After using many developers, I have found most of them unacceptable.

Tonality is subjective. What you and I like might be VERY different.

What sets Acutol apart is that it's almost the only acutance develper that does not compress mid-tones.

Andrew, please do not feed the troll.....as Robert A Heinlein wrote, "never wrestle with a pig, you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it"

The ignore function also makes it more interesting only seeing snipets of what the troll posted when someone quotes "IT". The snipets are enough to know his best friends are some of the many voices inside his own head. May his insecurities find a nice home else where.
