Selling my Made in Germany 28 Elmarit to fund a 35 Summicron. This is the very desirable last pre-aspheric version (version iv - serial# reference lists this as made in 1998). Glass and barrel are both incredibly clean - I can't see any defects anywhere. The hood shows some wear, but that's how I got it (I never use the hood). The B W UV filter was put on there the day I bought it and has not come off.
Selling this for what I paid at Photo Village a year ago - $1400. I also have a very nice Voigtlaender 28mm external chrome finder in box I can include for another $100, or $200 for the finder alone.
I've shot maybe 30 rolls with this lens and the results are spectacular. I just need the longer focal length right now, and can't afford to have both.
Also, if you are local (NYC), and have a 35 'cron to trade, let's talk.
