Hi - does anyone have first-hand experience? I have read that it was a "good enough" consumer-grade lens, light and easy to operate but with average image quality.

I could pick one up for peanuts, or I could leave it.

What do you think?

Well, for peanuts I'd pick it up and try it. If you don't like it you could always sell it for a peanut or two less.

You know what? I decided not to buy it. Because even with 135mm lenses, I sometimes struggle to use them correctly as I dont own a tripod.

I love the aesthetic of 1980s Leica lenses, the smooth matte black barrel and all. But I am not a collector. I have acquired a lot of gear recently, and do not have enough time to use it.
