Leica CL production year for a batch

From two different sources I get different dates. Checking wiki it says 1973-974 and checking Cameraquest says 1971

The Leica camera and lens pocket book, 3rd ed. 1986, agrees with Wiki. In addition, the general description of the CL gives 1973-1976 as its manufacturing dates. The book is generally regarded as reliable.
