The glass is without separation, haze, fog, scratches or fungus.
Aperture blades are oil free.
The focus is smooth.
The exterior shows bright marks and normal signs of use.
Typical of the 21mm f/3.4 Super-Angulon, the resolution and color rendition are excellent.
Test shots with a full-frame digital camera show some vignetting in the corners.


The Zeiss 21mm viewfinder is in good condition for a vintage finder.
The Zeiss accessory shoe on top is useful for an additional viewfinder or a light meter.
