Leica 135MM F/3.4 APO Telyt-M Lens. This one owner lens was previously owned by an advanced amateur who bought the finest M lenses in the late 1990s and 2000s... This lens currently sells for $4,500 new
CONDITION:
The lens is in great condition - HOWEVER - it was dropped and there is a ding in the lens hood (which took the brunt of the fall), a ding in the edge of the lens front and there is a scratch/tiny ding in the glass. The hood still slides up and down...but you cant mount a filter.
Despite all this, the lens shoots beautifully with stunning sharpness and color, even wide open. The lens is an impressive performer. See the shots I took today with my Leica M Typ240 digital camera. They are shot at f/3.4 or f/8 ( you can tell by DOF which are which). I am amazed at the wide open performance and NO color fringing. Glass is clean and clear, no haze, no fungus, no cleaning marks and no oil on blades. Focus is smooth. Comes with both caps and original Leica case. $ 999 firm. 7 day return if you think the lens doesn't perform well. I have thoroughly tested this and am confident its a great shooting lens.
