Must be the October issue., since it is not in my Sept. issue.

Lee and Eric's work is featured in the 'Autumn' issue, which falls between the September and October issues. We recently increased our frequency to 13 issues a year, and the 'Autumn' edition is the result.

Lee and Eric - we are in the process of having a changeover of editorial assistant, so there has been a slight delay in the sending out of your copies. They will be in the post early next week - promise!

I'd just like to add that the internet in general, and APUG specifically, has been a fantastic resource for material to include in the magazine - modern technology can be a wonderful thing!

Ailsa,

It was one of your editorials that introduced me to APUG. Thank *you* and keep the analogue flame burning!

Best regards,

Frank

PS The Barnbaum shots in the latest issue are just incredible! With each issue the standard of your mag seems to rise (and it started pretty high!). Thanks again and please keep 'em coming.

Congratulations. Having enjoyed seeing some of Lee's work I'm glad it's finding a larger audience. Been meaning to track down that magazine for awhile and now I have a good incentive.

Ailsa,

I read your magazine all the way over here in Hawaii; although it is really hard to get here. One bookstore seems to carry the magazine; but it seems be a "hit or miss" affair on whether they have it or not. I've got the May 2004 issue on my desk, which was the latest issue I was able to get. I want to thank you for such a quality publication. I first found your magazine on a visit to the UK a couple of years ago. I also found "Outdoor Photography" which is even harder to get.

Thanks,

Hi Ailsa,

What Issue No's are all these? My latest is July, Issue No35. I'm expecting No36 any day (we used to be two months behind but have caught up a month... unless your like some mags that put out next months edition ahead of time and we're were 3 months behind, now 2!!!!).

My wife picks it up for me so I want to be able to let her know what she should be looking for!

Nige.

P.S. Congrats to Lee & Eric!

See that Eric? They liked your work soooooooo much they created another issue just so they'd have room to publish your article and photos!

Seriously though, congrats!

Thanks to Fintan - I now know the B&W mag in discussion. He very generously offered to send me a copy a little while ago, gratis! (and it's quite a long way from Ireland to NZ). So glad he did; I didn't know the mag before, now subscribe.

That's correct! Thanks for replying on my behalf, Les. Our e-mail and internet have been out of action for a day and a half, so it's lucky I have you as my 'agent' to keep people informed!

What was I saying earlier about modern technology being a wonderful thing...?

At last I have my copy and the pictures are wonderful, so congratulations once again  It's going to be a while before my printing is anywhere near good enough to get in an issue, but there again they could use some of my humble offerings in place of those pages they've used for digital LOL

Excellent news! I wondered why I had received another mag so soon after the Sept issue. Does this mean that us subscribers will be receiving 13 issues for the price of 12 now?

Can I also say how much I enjoyed Lee and Eric's work. Also the Bruce Barnbaum's images are amazing. Excellent reproduction -- you can see every grain of sand in the Antelope Canyon shots.

I always plug the mag on the mailing lists I'm on. On the Voigtlander mailing list Bob Shell always speaks of you with glowing praise.

I notice in the small print, that you're having problems distributing your magazines. What's happening there? B&W still seems available where I am, but OP seems to have disappeared from a couple of my local newsagents.

Keep up the good work!

Just received my copy of B&W and was delighted to see Lee's cowboy photographs featured in a series on large format photography and Eric's adventures in Costa Rica in an article he wrote about his latest trip. Well done guys, both sets of images do you proud and well done Ailsa for selecting two of APUG's best.

I finally got a copy of the magazine this past Saturday night from my local Borders book store. It only took until November for the Autumn issue to get here... :D

How great to know that photogs on the forum are being published in B&W! I love the magazine more than I can say. I never thought I would subscribe to a photog mag again, since the US ones are so horribly filled with ads and digital now, but I couldn't help myself once I found it.

Got a copy at last! Great work guys! (After the whining I've done about my Geronar, it was cool to see such a terrific shot of Eric's made with one. I'll shut up now.)

Good Afternoon, Melisa,

Not only is it possible for us here in the U. S. to subscribe to Black & White Photography, it is downright simple. The folks over in England are just terrific to deal with; they were willing to accept my personal check (dollar denominated, of course) for a two-year subscription. My copies ordinarily arrive before I see the same issue in the bookstores. I also ordered some back issues just as easily.
