...and of course she uses a camera to draw attention to truth, which is why I'm sharing it here.

This is one of the better pieces about her that I've read. If you haven't heard her speak it's worth seeking her out; she's been interviewed at least once on a podcast and she speaks eloquently, as if reading from a script. For my money one of the finest working photographers today.

I heard her speak at the Museum School in Boston years ago, with some images from The Notion of Family and other work, moving and powerful. I'm looking forward to seeing Flint Is Family in Three Acts.

That book is on my wish list at Steidl and I look forward to being thoroughly depressed by it, I suppose. ;-)
