Found Later 28mm f/3/5 Pentax Super Takumar lens shade and case for earlier version.

Never mind, found I had BOTH lenses. Life of a hoarder...

Confusing title, eh? Seems the 28mm f/3/5 Super Takumars went from the early 58mm lens thread to a 49mm lens thread.

I blindly purchased this lens hood without doing research (long beyond when I can return it, if I ever could) and was dismayed to find it would not fit my early Super Takumar.

Doh!

Hoping someone has the exact opposite problem I have so we can do a straight-across swap. It is fully functional with a case in good condition, but it does have a few "pecks" on the hood itself (see photos).


Long shot, I know, but I had to ask...
