Thanks, it was really interesting, if elegiac.
I had a lot to do with manufacturing companies once upon a time,although to my chagrin not much process engineering, which is what this is.
One thing I always loved about factories is that there are always filthy scabby corners, despite the end product often being extreme high tech itself.

Us the equipment all going to the bin or they are repurposing it? it seems so much a waste to destroy a coating machine like that and the immensely expensive hopper.

Ah 28dayslater, I'd forgotten all about that site. Some really fascinating things to be found.
I expect that sooner or later an Urbex guy or gal will get shot "because terrorism"; in the meantime I rather respect their drive to find new things to see and the risks they take.

Quite sad that this place is being closed down. Holds a lot of historical significance for Kodak.
