Well nobody is going to get a bent nose anymore like St Ansel, because nowadays they hold these silly smartphones and so forth at arms length just to look at some itty-bitty image on a screen. Most idiotic invention of all time, ergonomically. Even a ten buck box Brownie in the old days came with a little optical viewfinder you could put your eye up to it. Geeks! (%&**#@). So if you want the personal "look" you obviously need your nose repeatedly pressed up against a real groundlgass. Guess I'll never qualify, cause I don't own a Stetson cowboy hat,
don't wear a beard, and don't have a bent nose. But I do have three 8x10 enlargers.

My iPhone has a perfectly good light meter app. Also a torch and a compass.

I am old school -- I still use my 8x10 flip phone.

Beard -- check
Hat -- check, but it is a fedora (no Stensen, but I do have an Akubra)
Photgrapher's vest -- sorry can't go there.

The best thing about using my Mamiya RB67 medium format camera on a Gitzo tripod is when someone comes over to watch. After awhile of turning this and clicking that, I glance over to them, look them in the eye and quietly and knowingly murmur, "Film". And then they walk away with their eyes wide open like they just witnessed a nova explosion. The brave ones and wise-guys call my bluff with either, "They still make film?" Or, "Where do you get it developed?"

Precious.
