I'm visiting in london right now and would like to know where i can find some color neg in 4x5. Is there some place that sells it somewhere close to downtown or at least close to a recognizable place where a tourist won't get lost ?

Can't guarantee you won't get lost, but Silverprint is always good. About 5 mins walk from Southwark tube station.
A marks the spot.

Note that Both are closed Saturday and Sunday.
There's something I'd never realised!

Incidentally, if you do go to Silverprint, while it's not exactly in a tourist hotspot (and some people get palpitations just because it's south of the river,) that doesn't mean there isn't stuff to see. It's very close to the Tate Modern gallery, and for a slightly alternative destination why not wander up to Borough Market (the market's been there for about 250 years, apparently)? It's only about a 15 minute walk from Silverprint, and once you're there you're bang next to London Bridge station.

Try asking at one of the many E6, C41 Professional labs around Central London, many are near Covent Garden most will have LF neg film on the shelf for sale. Look them up in Yellow pages.

Alternatively Calumet near Euston, and there are a number of other large professional dealers in the centre of London.

Afraid to say that nearly all the profesional labs in Covent Garden and nearby Soho have either shut down or moved. The very excellent Michael Dyer is still in Endell Street though. (http://www.michaeldyer.co.uk/) The ones that are left are mostly now a bit east between Clerkenwell and Shoreditch. I was speaking to a client once who now shoots only digital and he said that because most photographers spend their time at home or in the studio processing images on their Macs after a shoot, he misses the social aspect of going to the lab, bumping into another photographer/assistant/client/anyone and going off for a drink while the film is being processed!
