Hey everyone! My name is Lukas and I guess that you haven't seen many Lithuanians around here lately..

I've just started shooting 35mm and it's my first step into the whole photography thing. It feels like Christmas, when you go to the lab and never know what results you're going to get.

It's great to join the community!

Once I tried to learn prussian but I was not knowing what I was doing

I think a zorki or fed or zenit or kiev is not hard to buy there.

I used 9 leicas but all of my best pictures taken with 58mm helios on zenit et.

dont underestimate these cameras and dont lose your money to japanese tourist traps

WELCOME !!!

You should try our Lithuanian language - it's one of the most complex languages in the world  Also still alive and one of the oldest ones around the globe.

Yeah, it isn't hard to find russian/ukrainian cameras in street markets, it is like a trace/remains of USSR.

Thanks for welcoming

Labas Diena!
My last Zorki came from Vilnius

Laba diena! It's great to hear that! I strongly recommend to visit our capital Vilnius one day - you would take a lot of great shots of the city with the Zorki and have a great time there.

Welcome, Lukas from Washington DC! This is a great online community and very supportive. In no time at all we'll have you developing and printing your own film. Just be careful or soon you'll find yourself shooting ultra-large format and making contact prints in antique processes :D

Hey, thanks! As a musician I spend most of the time in that sphere of life, but there's always time for taking shots  It is really enjoyable.

Labas! My wife is Lithuanian and I can vouch for how complicated your language is  Welcome.

Sveikas! Good luck and be patient if you are trying to learn this language
