Photolab in Berkeley, California does a nice job for me. I only use them for processing black and white film. They do that well and consistently for me. I haven't had prints, scans or color processing done, just film processing.

Berkeley Mike - I know this is a stretch, but do you recall if Photolab still made large prints in the darkroom? I've stepped away from photography for about 3 years...and see most all of the Bay Area labs have closed up optical printing... If you might know of any left, let me know! Thanks

I use LTI/Lightside in NYC for C41 processing. Nice people, good prices, fast turnaround and good work. They don’t do E6 (anymore).

For E6 I use Vista Labs/CRC, also in NYC. Better hours than LTI and even faster turnaround. They also do C41.
I could use them for everything, but I like the guys at LTI so I throw them the C41 work and go to Vista for the E6. Their prices are comparable.

Both very competent labs with pleasant staff and good results.

Here in CH I use a lot the Migros supermarket services. They do C41 fo 3.90 CHF or E6 fo 9.-- (quite good being CH), They also develop B&W but I never used it. The lab also offers scans + enlargements from negatives or mounted dias (but no unmounted slides as they "don't have the machine anymore" I wonder what difference it makes in scanning a neg strip). Turnaround is a week but is is a cheap as it can get over here.

I have been using TheDarkroom.com in San Clemente, CA. They do B&W (no reversal), C-41, and E-6 for all sizes from 110- 8x10. They scan in 3 increments (except sheet film) using a Noritsu scanner (35mm up to about 6800x4500). Due to lack of slide mounts they currently do not mount slides. They do offer silver emulsion B&W prints (RC paper only), and color prints from C-41 and E-6. I think all prints are from digital files. I have only developed and scanned B&W and C-41 (I did get ion set of standard silver emulsion 4x6 prints for one roll). I have been happy so far. I usually get my scans to download with in 4-5 days, then the negatives come a few days later. They send notices when they receive the film, when they have uploads ready, and when they ship the negatives.

I just used The Darkroom for the first time. I sent them 4 rolls of TMax 400 from a family vacation for developing, scanning, and printing, and I am very pleased with the results. Will absolutely use them again.

I use Atlantic Photo Supply in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. They still process c-41 with about a one week turnaround time. Up until recently I found their quality of development and low res scans to be excellent. I understand one of their machines broke down recently and I've had two rolls where my scans were mis-indexed and the scans were unusable. They refunded my money the first time. The second time it happened though has unsettled me.

I've been using Photo Hippo in Burnley for my C41 processing via mail order. still happy to recommend them but I have a new favourite, right on my doorstep.

Luton Camera Repairs is a proper old fashioned camera shop, and they also operate a business "True Colour Imaging" run by a lady who has been processing films commercially so long she remembers the change from C22 to C41. I did use her service once a couple of years ago but then discovered Photo Hippo with their "scan and email link" service. She now offers the same service in addition to scanning to CD and "develop and print". Very much knows what she's doing and is cheaper than Photo Hippo.

Physical shop is on Guildford St in Luton visible from the train station's ticket office exit selling film, cameras, accessories etc. They also do mail order via a website https://www.truecolourimaging.com/

Sam's Club has announced that they will shut down in-store photo lab services by June, 2019.
Photo services will continue to be accessible through their on-line website, fulfilled by Fuji.
It is unclear whether future orders will be shipped at no charge to your local Sam's Club, or shipped, with added shipping charges, directly to the consumer.

I own my own lab where I process E-6, C-41 B&W and Scala film in sizes from miniature formats up to 12x16" sheet via dip and dunk.
I also hand print Ra-4 B&W, Ra-4 Reversal and Ilfochrome to mural sizes by hand. Can do film recording up to 8x10" and drum scan among other services.

Where are you located? If in the USA, I am very interested.

I have been using Ross Imaging Center (https://www.ctprints.com/), just outside of New Haven, CT, for a while now for color negative film development. Results are excellent, hours are good, and prices are competitive. The owner has his photographic business in the same building, and is often at the counter to take your order himself and to answer questions or work with you on a specific service, like push processing. Definitely recommended and a place to stop by for processing if you're visiting the area or passing through from NY.

These threads tend to be more useful in my opinion if an actual list is compiled at some point at the top of the thread...

But, I've been happy with mail order processing with North Coast Photo (http://www.northcoastphoto.com/) and Precision Camera (https://www.precision-camera.com/). Both do decent lab work for 35mm and 120.

North Coast Photo (NCPS) offers both budget and enhanced scans; I think the budget scans are pretty decent for the price. They end up being about $12/roll for development and 2000x3000 scans. Their 120 scans are a bit more stingy - 2k x 3k as well.

Precision Camera is offering developing and scanning for about $12/roll too, but they give you 4000x6000 scans on 35mm. For other formats, they are even bigger for the same price. I think I got back 12000 x 4000 for my XPan scans. If you use this link (Dead Link Removed) you can get the cheaper price. Also, they have been returning the negs cut to a length of your specification sleeved in high quality sleeves, the kind you might get from Archival Methods.

I have full rez samples online from both companies if anyone is interested.

Seconded for North Coast Photos in Carlsbad, California for both BW and color negative and chromes. Dip and dunk. They'll ship the film back in plastic archival sheets. They'll also return your 4x5 film boxes. I don't use their scanning services, however, as I scan myself.
