Very strangely, my Konica T3n has a lightmeter working only on AE mode. On manual mode, I have no lecture. Same with other Hexanon lens : 50mm f1,4 - 28mm f3,5 - 135mm f3,5.
Batteries fine, of course.
I am considering selling this camera for parts only.
On eBay, there are several T3n offered for an average price of 140$, so i think it is useless getting it fixed by a tech.
And I think Mr. Weber is retired if I am not mistaken.

Any suggestions?

As long as you can still meter in AE mode you still can meter, then override in manual. Unless your T3 stops working I would not bother with repair or replacement. If you decide on a replacement I would personally stick with the T3N, full information in the viewfinder, mirror lock up, very good build quality. On the other hand, a TC can be had for less money, basic camera, no mirror lock up, only shutter speed shown in the viewfinder, unless you need the more advanced features then a TC or A3 may work for you.

On my T3n, the meter does work in both full manual and shutter priority mode. T3n is indeed my favorite Konca body as well, but I found TC/A3 are even the first-gen Autorex are pretty good.

And as of October 2025, Mr. Weber is retired due to vision loss.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that about Greg having vision problems. I was thinking of him last evening as I working with my T3 and Auto-Reflex, as he had done some great work on the latter and on my Konica IIIa RF. My best wishes to him.
