I read with great interest Dead Link Removed and variants. The article mentions Konica SD-28 among many others. SD-28 looks particularly interesting however because it appears to have a very high buffering capacity.

Does anybody know anything of the history of Konica SD-28?

How about usage? Are D-76/ID-11 times a good starting point?

How is it's shelf life compared to D-76/ID-11?

Brad, I haven't mixed any up yet - but it's on my To Do List - along with Suzuki's DS-8.

Regarding usage, I would plan to start with standard D76/ID-11 times.

This formula is identical to D-76d except for the small amount of bromide. If you are not going to use the developer as a replenished system then the difference in buffering between it and D-76 is immaterial.

BTW, Kodak's pre-packaged D-76 is said to contain more buffering than the published formula.
