Ive been wanting to get into medium format but didnt have a large sum of money to invest. Found a university used Koni Omega Rapid for super low price, decided to take a chance on it.

Need to put a roll through it, but besides that im fairly certain it only has 2 issues:

The lens dial gets sticky on both lower shutter speeds and wider aperture settings, and its missing the handle.

Im fairly certain I can just take out and clean the lens/find a better condition one, but I cannot find a standalone handle for the damn camera anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to either find or just make my own handle?

I am sure I have a handle you can have. PM me your address and will send it.
Regarding lens, yeah a 90mm is usually pretty cheap on ebay. It may loosen up over some time, if it works I would leave it alone. Not worth sending it for CLA, buying another lens may be cheaper. Being a university camera it probably has seen a lot of use.

Youre awesome, I appreciate it very much. I agree with the lens, gonna run through a couple rolls and either crack it open myself or just get a new one.

Hey! We're you able to find the handle?

The koni omega cameras, even when beat to shit, are fantastic cameras. Assuming all is functional you might have some spacing issues. My first koni was completely and utterly beat to shit, leather was falling off, lens was a petri dish, and yet it gave me fantastic images in it's too short life.

About to develop my test rolls to check for spacing issues, crossing my fingers i dont have to open my film back and try to fix it
