Hello,

I have a nice Koni Omega Rapid 100 with a 90mm/3.5 Super Oregon lens.

I had it serviced, it works well and takes very sharp photos. Easy to and hold.

The camera is built like a tank, my only complaint is the flip-up door for film type tab holder.

It cheap and tinny and never stays latched for me. It has the irritating habit of flipping up at the wrong times.

Has anyone come up with a solution for keeping this flip-up door in place or should I just remove it.

I appreciate you suggestions,

Scott

When I had one of these, I used painter's tape.

The tape looks like the easiest solution.

I tried painter's tape with okay success but will try electrical or gaffer's tape to
see if either stick better.

Mine has the opposite problem. The spring is broken that flips up the cover. Have to use a Swiss Army knife blade to slide it open.
