No joke, I got this lens from KEH sold as if it were a normal Koni Omega lens. I wish it was, because that's what I bought it to be and it's in perfect condition. But the previous owner put it in a Copal shutter, probably so they could use it with some 2x3 camera. And it didn't come with the regular KO lens barrel and shutter. And I don't have any 2x3 or 4x5 cameras, so that's how we ended up with me posting this on the classifieds. Figured someone around here might want it, instead of me returning it. Glass is perfect, shutter looks like it was serviced 4 years ago and is the strongest firing shutter I have ever heard. Asking $275 + shipping.

I have one, extracted from a Koni-Omegaflex lens panel. Very good lens, covers 2x3, doesn't cover 4x5. Of interest to people who have the camera, it is more-or-less the shortest lens that makes infinity on a 2x3 Pacemaker Speed Graphic.

As originally delivered, these lenses can be used only on the cameras they were made for. This because the shutter is released by a linkage inside the body. I took mine's cells and put them in a Copal #0. That's the lens on offer, ready to go.

Note that the 58/5.6 Konica Hexanon's cells will go into a Copal #0 Press shutter, The somewhat similar (6 elements in 4 groups like f/8 Super Angulons, the 58 is 8/4 like f/5.6 Super Angulons) 60/5.6 Konica Hexanon/Omegon's cells will not go into a #0 press shutter. they want a #0 cock-and-shoot.

Hi Dave, I sold this a while ago, but by very strange coincidence, yesterday the aperture on my Koni Omega 60mm lens broke and when I took it apart it became clear that a hack repairman in the past had injured the aperture system to the point where an aperture leaf needs to be replaced. Which is not something I have spare parts for. The optics are perfect, though and I was thinking of selling the lens elements to someone who would like to use them for 2x3. You would have to bring your own shutter. Would you be interested in that? Send me a PM if you are and we can work out a price, it would be much less than the 58 in copal shutter.

Edit: I just realized that new members cannot initiate private messages. I will send you a message in case you are interested.

Grim, so you and your buyer will know, the cells won't go into a #0 press shutter. #0 cock and shoot, yes, but press, no. The rear cell will hit the diaphragm.

simple as that, unscrew them from the koni housing and screw them right into the copal(no modifications needed)

Cock and shoot Copal #0, yes. Copal Press #0, no. The inner element of the rear cell will hit the diaphragm blades. No modifications possible.
