Perhaps they'll find another lost frozen roll of tech pan that they forgot about, come out with it as "T-pan" then when it runs out, admit it was just another lost roll and they won't be making any more...again...

Well since they ditched E-6 film production apart from 100D.. probs C-41 or B&W.

Replace Portra 800 with faster Portra 1600? That'd be nice. Or Ektar 25? C-41 EIR? I dunno.

I'd expect Kodak and Ilford to replace their current dual ranges of traditional and T-grain type films with just one range using the best of both technologies.

Second most likely is "Ekportar" MAX a single C-41 emulsion that will cover all your film needs.

They could do the same for B&W. Tmax 400, apart from the grain, can be made to have a variety of "looks" based on developer choices, agitation, exposure, etc... It could replace tri-x and be called tri-max. While technically possible, it'd be a certain shoot-yourself-in-the-foot move which they seem to be good at.

Since it's probably another division it probably won't happen, but they could probably get out of that business and merely endorse 3rd party chemistry as "kodak approved". Every vendor of chemistry could ride the coat tails of Kodak's quality by being "Kodak approved" and Kodak promotes their products while the chemistry seems to promote the option of Kodak film. Manus manum lavat, unfortunately, is a delicate thing in the business world that doesn't survive change well.

Nah, Kodak should definately begin producing Neopan 400 in 120, as Fuji isn't interested

They should make a film that, when you process it in C-41 chemistry, produces a color negative, when you develop it in E-6 it produces color positive transparencies and when you develop it in D-76, produces black and white.
