In the words of Bob the cat, PBLLT! I think that is his name. I'm no one special and I would meet regardless. I've met many APUG members at GEM.

I got my $120 enlarger home, Beseler 45 MXT, the famous Adjus-table stand, 3 lens turret with German lenses. And to top it off one of the famous Minolta 45A head, that's a real odd duck. 20-30 years back that head was a 3000 dollar dream machine, I'm not sure what it's really good for. Fortunately I have extra heads Dichro S heads.
More stuff. Mike

Go ahead, Mike... Sometime in the future, I’ll be talking about how I got PE’s enlarger and all the goodies that will come with it.

You can drive here from Brazil, . You need to get on the road before some NUT builds a wall around the USA to keep us all from leaving!

It would be a cool story to tell my grandkids, but I really prefer using my AA miles! :D

You can still flee America by boat or plane, but do it soon, as it’s getting harder and harder to fly these days without having a full strip search and going inside a full body scanner.

While the market is rallying nicely today Kodak is continued to be hammered hard, now down -7% for the day, -29% for the week.

Just checked the market, Kodak was up to $5.85. I would have thought that it would now be a "penny" stock the way some people have been talking. What went wrong folks?......Regards!

Stocks that are propped up by fake cryptocurrency schemes are indeed penny stocks.

“It’s a last-ditch stock promotion gambit for a company hurtling towards bankruptcy.”

Brutal. Kodak is one of the most shorted stocks in the market today. Investors are betting huge money that this company is headed down.

It's a real shame that the corporate leaders are betting the entire future of this once great company on a wildly speculative venture like cryptocurrency rather than on something that is more substantial and long lasting.

What photographer wants to be paid in Kodak Coins rather than real cash? This question alone shows how daft Kodak's cryptocurrency plan is doomed.

Up 9% right now. The crypto thing is NUTS. The options boys are making a killing with the volatility. My long term investment in Kodak will be limited to stockpiling some TMY2.

It's not a Kodak plan. It's a WENN Digital plan. Kodak just licensed their name, like for batteries and VHS tapes.

Kodak has attached themselves to a pretty slimy company. That shows very very poor judgement. Of course, given their track record, perhaps that should be expected by now.

It indicates an appalling lack of due diligence. It would be interesting to hear the Kodak board's response to the Kerrisdale Capital report.

Today it was reported now that a full 55% of Kodak shares are held short. 55% of the entire float is betting that Kodak goes down. I'd like to hear the CEO explain how it this has come to be. All that work to turn Kodak into a commercial printing company seems absolutely wasted.

I do believe that their are many folks who were scratching their heads at the giant ink-jet idea. it would make a good project for a small division of Kodak, but is hardly worth betting that it would be big enough to justify running the entire company on. Particularly when besides the control of webs of material expertise that Kodak undoubtedly has in spades, the inkjet scheme also requires expertise in Very high end computer graphic processing as well as exceedingly great print head technology.

Since I am not in the know about Kodak products beyond some of their consumer offerings (low end, not competitive in the market) and film (excellent), I am curious about the quality and competitiveness of their commercial products. What are they selling and is it good?

The problem with Kodak is most, if not all, of their businesses are in secular decline. They could be as good a commercial printer as there is, but the market is in decline, steep decline in fact.

80% of Kodak's businesses are seeing declines in revenue.

Adding to that problem is that they are carrying a lot of debt that is due in 2019. Their cash flow is not strong enough to cover that debt, hence you see many analysts saying that a second bankruptcy is almost inevitable.
