Kodak snap cap 135 cassette

Wondering is there any trick of how to remove the cap (either end) ? is it a twist motion ? I tried , and it was very tight, don't want to bent the cap with the opener and end up not reusable anymore.

They should just pop off. Point the male end down and press firmly. The upper cap should pop off.

Thank you , just try it and it works. Silly me , I was twisting the caps and nothing happens.

Squeezing the 'wrap' while pushing on the spool can help. It can be done with one hand by squeezing while pushing the spool-end down on a table top.

The plastic cassettes unscrew.

It’s a good idea to give the cap a little twist after snapping it back on to make sure it’s seated.
