When did Kodak enlarger paper cease to exist? I went "dormant" at the end of 1995 and I cold still get it then I think but I was using Ilford at the time as it was readily available for me.
Looking at a Craigslist ad and it shows quite a bit of old Kodak paper. Just kind of wondering how old it might be.

Thanks, That was during my "dark ages" when I was doing no photography at all.

That sounds right to me too. I had just come back from Japan and was starting my first ever darkroom class and I remember they had displays for the paper. I think I was able to use one box before switching over to Agfa since there wasn't a whole lot of Ilford around either.

Here's the original excerpt of the June 16, 2005 Kodak press release discussing the end of paper production. Was being made in Brazil at the time of the annoucement.

I've got some from around '04-'05. I've printed with it and it still looks OK.

2005, remember it well. Same year that Agfa Photo went under. Also the same year that the big Fletcher's photo store in Pitt St, Sydney, went bust.

In my experience this year, the last of the outdated Kodak Elite paper has not held up well, despite keeping it cold/frozen, but the last of the Polymax Fine Art has. My Polymax expired in 2005.

Great. I am reopening the darkroom and there are 10 boxes of 11x14 Elite frozen. I must have got them on sale as they are way more than I would ever buy at one time.

The stuff I got was in a storage unit. I'm not picky though, for all I know my prints are foggy and nasty. I'm just happy when something comes out.

yesterday i put a package of polymax to the waste. complete foggy and cloudy prints.
