I have recently come into a stock of this film. The information I have suggests it is(was) a high-speed recording film. The supply I have is dated from the late 1980's and supposedly stored in a basement. Today I loaded a short roll, set the meter for 1600iso and took pictures around the yard. Developed in Diafine (4+4), the negatives are very thin, several almost nonexistent. I realise that I overestimated the speed and ask if anyone has an idea of what I should expect from this stuff.

TIA

I've got a bunch of it in the freezer at work. You can expect a LOT of film base plus fog and a lot of grain. Neither are favorites of mine. IIRC Kodak rated it at about ASA 500 which was pretty fast when it was made. I've got some original tech sheets for it if you'll PM me and remind me when I'm back at work on Monday. I could scan for you. I'm afraid you'll find it's good for about nothing though.
