Hi,
I Just got an Eastman-Kodak No.1 Folding camera. It has the KODEX No. 0 shutter on it.
1. The shutter *Sorta* works, that is the Needle on 50 works all the time, 25 after I click it a time or two, or on the right iris setting. And BULB Works, and TIME only works as BULB.
I'd like to get it working properly, How can I remove the shutter, how I can take it apart, and What may I expect to see inside?
Also, How can I remove the bellows for repair?

Thanks

There's an owners manual over on butkus.org/chinon but I could not readily locate a repair/schematics manual of any kind. So, it's either happy hunting or you get to be the one to document a modern version. In any event, just be careful with this gem and welcome to APUG.

I'm not 100% sure about the No.1, but the Vigilant has a retaining ring to hold the shutter on. The Tourist has two screws that come from the front to hold the shutter to the front standard.
