If the Kodak 35 is steampunk (it does look that way and I do have one that takes great pics) then calling a Medalist one is an error - it is a nuclear-reactorpunk (and I do have one and it takes superb pics). Kids have no appreciation for real artistic design like Art Deco - they are all out shooting their stick of chewing gum phones.

I find myself amazed that both the Kodak 35 rangefinder and the Kodak Medalist 1 are around 80 years old!

I recently got a Kodak Chevron, which took the Medalist one step further - not sure what you'd call it after "nuclear-reactorpunk" ... ; )

Fisher-Price Futurism?
'My First Rube Goldberg'?
I just find the Chevron design humorous. The lens is certainly great!
