I was visiting the warehouse today and found 2 old C-41 kits.
They each have:

Developer
1A x2
1B x2
1C x2

Bleach
2A x1
2B x2

Fixer
3 x1

Stabilizer
4 x1

Is this as it should be?
or did I combine some stuff to save space when I moved?

One strange observation... all Dev 1C packets exhibit a strange low frequency "bloom" all over the foil packets they are in...

I was in a hurry and did not notice what was in that part...
does anyone know...

What causes the bloom?

"Bloom" here is a more or less regular array of white,
weakly reflecting spots all over the silver foil 1C packet.

None of the other packets exhibited this problem.

The bloom is normal when the kit has gone bad Ray.

That kit is soooooo old!

I was hoping it was just a sign of being well aged... :D

But seriously... what do you think about the stability of the other parts?
Exteriors all seem in excellent shape.

It says "Bleach II" on part 2, so I guess this kit is the one with the bleach Rx worked out by Dave V. et al ?

Everything else should be fine, unless the bleach has begun to crystallize. That indicates a change. Also, cloudy fix indicates a problem as well.

Dave V? I don't get the reference.

There is a patent about a reworked formulation. I'll email it later.
I am quite certain they are the same, but well I could be wrong.
