I developed roll of Kodak infrared film yesterday. After 6 years in the frezer it stil developes without any problem. 10 films left in my fridge

Excellent. I shot tons back in the day. Rodinal 1:50 = magic. Enjoy!

The question is not whether the film develops fine or not but rather whether the spectral sensitivity has decreased in amplitude or spectral range.

That's a beautiful picture! Sometimes I think I got into this hobby way too late. But I stay hopeful that someone somewhere will produce true infrared film again.

Appreciate the comments, but I am looking forward to trying the Ilford and Rollei IR films in 120. I have seen some very nice results. It took me a while to fit my 58mm IR filter on my Rolleicord, but with an adapter and two step-up rings, it seems to work.

I doubt the grain has much if anything to do with the age. HIE was always a very grainy film.
