Hi all,

I've got a classic Kodak Hard Rubber 8x10" Tank w/ floating lid; perfect condition.

I am hoping to sell it along with 3 stainless steel 4x5" tanks (probably 5x7" as well; can measure if needed, all I have is 4x5" hangers). These fit in the Kodak rubber tank comfortably and their rounded lips allow them to rest suspended in the Kodak tank.

This is a perfect "water bath" setup, and that was my intention in using it, however, I discovered that the s.s. tanks have some pinholes and leaks around the seams. I put dabs of industrial strengh adhesive over the pinholes, but there are still a few leaks coming from the welds. If I needed these, I was going to buy some gas-tank sealer but one could just as easily caulk the seems with the appropriate sealant. An easy fix, and they're otherwise in great shape. These smaller tanks hold 1.7L if my memory serves me.

Make me an offer, but I'm thinking $50 shipped would make my day (it's kinda heavy). I'm willing to break them up however, and ultimately just need to sell them. I'll try to post some pictures, but if you ask I'll have the incentive to do it sooner.

Thanks!

p.s. As usual, 3% to APUG.

These are NOT my tanks, but the construction is identical.

Just to be clear, the picture depicts four 8x10" s.s. tanks, I have three 4x5" (5x7"?) tanks.

I am now throwing in six Kodak plate & film holders (no. 4). This is the amount that can fit in one tank at a time.

$45 shipped within the continental US. International is fine by me if you wanna pay the shipping.

The steel tanks measure 20cm by 6.75cm at the mouth and are 18cm deep.

Pictures and Update

Ok, so here are some pictures of the whole shebang.

As it turns out, only one of the stainless steel tanks has a detectable leak. I filled them with water and while one left a good amount of water on my counter, the other two didn't leak so much as a drop overnight.

Please make me an offer; this is a good setup.
