Most likely it is the availability of cheap credit that makes it worthwhile.so this is about the third time they "started" to make drugs and critical chemicals. Wonder if they will decide it is a worthwhile business this time.
I don't think so in the aggregate because there is a clear strategic mandate. Hopefully, managed globalism versus unbridled globalism is the future for the US. It is unwise to be too dependent on the good nature of other nations. With that said, I am sure that a good number of companies will take Uncle Sam for a ride. I hope Kodak isn't one of them for so many reasons. I lived in Rochester as a kid when my mother worked for Xerox as a chemist. I would like to see Kodak and Rochester thrive.Hopefully this isn't a pork barrel scheme.
