Any fixer can be diluted by quite a bit and still thoroughly
fix film or paper. Of course there must be enough of the
chemistry in whatever solution volume to do the job.
The more dilute, the more time in the fixer.

I use fixer so dilute that it is nearly exhausted after
one roll or one or a few prints at same time processed.
Very little good chemistry goes down the drain. Dan
