Hello All,
I have an unmarked bottle of Kodak fix. I need to make a gallon of fix for film only. Is it 32oz+H2O to make a gallon or 16oz+H2O to make a gallon. Again this is for film dev only.
Thanks

Kodak makes several kinds of fixer. They have a powdered fixer that you mix with water directly to working strength. There is a rapid fixer that you dilute with 4 parts water for a film strength fixer. There are a few others too. Which do you have?

If it's in a bottle I'm assuming it's either Rapid Fixer or Kodafix. According to Kodak's website, Kodafix should be diluted 1:3 for film, and 1:7 for paper, making one gallon and two gallons, respectively.
