Hi Guys- I was looking at some film I just bought and was wondering, when Kodak switched over two its new facility and the emulsions changed in development time etc., what did the emulsion numbers start at when some of the first films rolled out of there. I have some Plus-X here that expires 07/2012 that has an emulsion no. of 0611 and some Tri-X that expires 11/2012 but has en emulsion of 1561. Just wondering...

Patrick

When Kodak moved the production of Tri-X and Plus-X in 2002 the color of the film base changed. If you have negatives from that time look at the tint of the base. That way you can decide what numbers date from before the change and whant came after.
