Kodak Duraflex IV exposure settings

i've just picked up some 620 film for my grandfather's old Duraflex IV.

The lens offers f/8, f/11, and f/16.

Any sense on the shutter speeds?

Hey Paul - I have a Kodak Duaflex II and I love it. I keep with the sunny 16 rule, and that seems to work out with me. In fact, I don't have a light meter (I know!) so I generally do all my shutter speeds in my head according to the light.

You also don't actually need 620 film - just respool some 120 onto those lovely metal spools and it'll fit perfectly.

Sunny 16 sounds good, except that I don't know how fast the shutter is -- maybe I'm just missing something.

Many of the one-speed Kodaks had a shutter speed of about 1/30, I believe. That should be a Duaflex -- no "r" in the name as far as I know.

Oh sorry Paul - I had replied before I finished my coffee that morning . Yes, the kodak cameras are generally around 1/30.

Dug - it's sunny here! Well, sunny then cloudy then sunny then cloudy... you get the picture. We get a bit more sun in the Kootenays than on the coast .
