i've just picked up some 620 film for my grandfather's old Duraflex IV.

The lens offers f/8, f/11, and f/16.

Any sense on the shutter speeds?

Hey Paul - I have a Kodak Duaflex II and I love it. I keep with the sunny 16 rule, and that seems to work out with me. In fact, I don't have a light meter (I know!) so I generally do all my shutter speeds in my head according to the light.

You also don't actually need 620 film - just respool some 120 onto those lovely metal spools and it'll fit perfectly.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the thoughts! I needed to get the film in order to have some spools!

Sunny 16 sounds good, except that I don't know how fast the shutter is -- maybe I'm just missing something.

Glad to hear you love your duraflex! I'm really looking forward to playing with mine.

....I keep with the sunny 16 rule, and that seems to work out with me....

How do you use the "sunny" 16 rule in British Columbia?

(Still waiting for the sun in Seattle)

Doug

Oh sorry Paul - I had replied before I finished my coffee that morning . Yes, the kodak cameras are generally around 1/30.

Dug - it's sunny here! Well, sunny then cloudy then sunny then cloudy... you get the picture. We get a bit more sun in the Kootenays than on the coast .
