Kodak D-97 developer - Any Equivalents?

Hello,

Well, I have somehow found myself with 1000' of Eastman High Contrast Pan Intermediate Film (SO-331).

I've respooled some onto a 100 ft spool for bulk loading.

I have no idea as to what to shoot it at (I'll do film tests around ISO 12, 25 and 50).

Other than stand developing in dilute rodinal or diafine 3+3, does anyone know where I could find Kodak D-97 developer (or its equivalent)?

D-97 is a motion picture positive developer. It is usually formulated from its ingredients. A motion picture positive developer is more akin to a paper developer than the usual film developer. Dilute Dektol or D-19 may be the best substitute. The real question is what you want to use the film for. A motion picture intermediate film is quite specialized, and you will probably need to experiment considerably to adapt it for any other use.

D97 may be too high a contrast try using ID-11, X-tol etc.
