Seems like Kodak CEO Jeff Clarke stepped down. "Mutual" agreement between him and the board.
Meaning they disagreed on everything except the severance pay I guess.
Under him they kept motion picture alive, brought back P3200 and Ektachrome.

Jeff Clarke began his career at Digital Equipment in 1985. So like a friend oft mine at nearly the same time (5 years later).
Well - Digital Equipment was a real smart company just at this time.
But of course their is a difference........
Between Jeff and him :

.......in the todays market situation you need both :
A vision AND the assertive strength to reach your targets!

Nothing more to say.........:pouty:...

new guy seems to have served on a lot of boards, Only one I recognised was Tembec.

If I read it correctly, the new guy has been on the Eastman Kodak board since 2013,

The new guy seems like a major bullshit artist. I have heard the same crap. Never ceases to amaze me.

Running an organization like Eastman Kodak, in the situation that Eastman Kodak is in, is as much about corporate finance as it is about anything else.

Which is why they need someone that's not a bullshit artist. Maytag "lured away" the CFO of Whirlpool. The "money man" ran Maytag into the ground. He got his golden parachute when Whirlpool bought Maytag.
Kodak will be broken up.

I don't know what to make of this.

On the one hand, I like that Kodak is staying in the film game. On the other, Kodacoin, and the ektra smartphone are uninspired garbage. It seems that the company lacks direction while it is sinking financially.

New boss, same as the old?
