kind of expansive. I am happy i moved to ECN2

I didn't think it was expensive. At least the c41 is comparable to most kits. They are usually about 30-40 for a 1 liter kit.

the smallest size seems to be 2.5 liters, most "Home Use" kits are one litre, or even 946ml, which seems to be a size that folks like in the US.

I'm curious why Kodak chose to use empty bottles in their pic. I wondered why the bleach is clear, then I found out they are all empty.

My C-41 developer replenisher is on it's way, UPS pinged it in Howell Michigan, which is about 30 miles from Dexter. These folks have been making chemistry forever. This bodes well for the Kodak branded chemistry.

I think it may be that the product image has a "cleaner look" on the white background and looks better online.

Or perhaps they had the labelled bottles, but hadn't any chemicals yet to put in them when they were in the process of setting up the website.

the JOBO bleach is in half full bottles., (which is actually sensible as the bleach stores better with extra Oxygen. if the Kodak branded kit is the same way, someone new to the process might think thye were not getting a full kit.

regenerating used bleach involves oxidization

What I understand is that oxidation is essential when mixing working bleach from stock. I could be totally wrong about this, but according to Z131, "The chemicals mix easily. Lengthy agitation does not harm bleaches; it provides beneficial aeration." I assume that introducing plenty of oxygen is good?

Saw this article on my FB page...

I received my order of new, Kodak Flexicolor Developer Replenisher today. It shipped from Dexter Michigan. Cinestill handled the order, shipped from Photo Systems Inc, the manufacturer. Looks beautiful. 4x10L of replenisher. I have everything else in stock.
This is nice and fresh with August of 2026 expiration date. Looks outstanding from initial inspection.

I bought Kodak C41 kit last October and it was delivered to my address in Canada. Now it is listed as too hazardous to ship. I thought of doing the warehouse thing in Sweetwater Montana, plus I would have an excuse to visit Montana. Well, maybe in today’s climate not a great idea.

Good news though, Argentix in Montreal has stock.
