Could you be more specific about this product? I couldn't find anything like test strips on the Freestyle web catalog when I searched under "test" or "control". A rather cursory look at the Kodak website showed control strip products for color film, motion picture products, and microfilm, but not for ordinary film or paper (at least as far as I went into it).

The kodak test strips are short lengths (about 4" ) of Tmax 100 35mm film (minus the sprocket holes). They are used to test developers for densities (dmax, dmin, toe density, etc.) and CI (contrast index). Ilford has an equivalent on fp4+ film.

Does anyone know what exposure is given to each patch on the control strips?
