I recently acquired a Kodak Automatic 35F, and I'm trying to get it back to working condition, but the pressure plate has completely detached from the film back. It seems that it was originally held on with a foam spacer and adhesive, which has since totally disintegrated.

Does anyone know what thickness of foam it takes, or a good source for double-adhesive foam? I can just cut out a piece of foam and stick it in with rubber cement or super glue, but there's probably a better solution.

A picture of the back would help. I checked my Kodak Motormatic, essentially a clockwork version of the Automatic 35, but the pressure plate is fixed to the camera back with "rivets" like on most cameras.
